He also served as director of the Department of Plant Production at the School of Agricultural Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In addition to being an emeritus professor at the aforementioned university, he promoted and directed the master’s degree
      programme in Gardening and Landscaping.  is publishing company has published several of his works on fruit growing, arboriculture, and gardening techniques.
